BIRTHDAY CELEBRATIONS
If you and your child would like to celebrate his or her birthday at school, you are welcome to send in birthday treats. Please follow the recommendations below to ensure a happy celebration:
Teachers ask that you not distribute party invitations at school.
- Treats are shared during lunch so you may either (a) send in the treats with your child in the morning; (b) drop off the treats at the front office prior to lunch time; (c) bring them in with you if you plan to eat lunch with your child that day.
- Treats should be easy to distribute, individually wrapped or pre-cut, and not too messy. You and/or your child will be distributing the treats. If necessary, please cut items (such as a cookie cake) prior to bringing it to school. Knives are not permitted in the lunchroom.
- Please keep food allergies in mind when choosing your treat.
- Please provide a treat for each student in your homeroom but your homeroom only. Please do not plan on sharing with individuals in other classes.
- PLEASE MAKE YOUR TEACHER AWARE OF YOUR PLANS ~ WHAT YOU ARE BRINGING AND WHICH DAY.
